Looking at a Model 3204 Demo. Dealer asking $5500, with 54" deck. Is that a good price, and is the 3204 a good mower? Thanks for any help.

Well the MSRP for the 3204 without mowing deck is $5,199. So the price the dealer gave you with a 54inch deck is quiet reasonable. Because those decks cost anywhere from $800 to $1000 dollars ....

I just purchased a 3204 with 48" deck $5,000 for both the deck listed for $1129. The dealer was asking $4500 for the tractor
